That is my personal seal. It can be used to summon me if the right conditions are met, or if magic is applied. I don't have much use for it until my magic is returned but, it might come in handy if another magic user has it and can apply the proper amount of power or meet the right conditions to use it.
Admittedly, the conditions involve a blood sacrifice if you don't have the proper amount of power but, somehow, I don't think that will be an issue for you. Call it a hunch if you will.
